Do you ever wear a robe?
I’m in the market for a new bathrobe, something to wear while I do my hair and makeup after my shower/before I get dressed and at night over my pajamas. But I’m not sure what type to get — terrycloth, cotton or fleece. What do you recommend?

I advise 2 robes: one each for winter & summer. Go with something long for winter, shorter for summer. I prefer my robes to be absorbent (since I really only wear them to/from the shower), so terry cloth & cotton beat out fleece in my book. But fleece can be so cozy…
I agree with Lynn. I have several, but my white terry cloth robe gets the most use. It’s short and absorbent and I like it very much. My second runner-up is a knee-length jersey cotton. This is versatile, though not nearly as absorbent as terry cloth. I can wear the jersey robe over a night gown until I’m ready for bed. It also works much better (than terry cloth) in the warmer months. I have a silk robe, too, but that’s more of a cover-up since we all know what silk looks and feels like when it’s wet. I avoid fleece simply because I don’t care how it feels against my skin if it gets even the slightest bit damp. Good luck finding your perfect, cozy robe!
